Nicki Minaj has broken a three-month silence to release her new video “Megatron” featuring her sex offender boyfriend.

Nicki Minaj’s controversial boyfriend, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, makes a cameo in her latest music video.

According to the New York Post, the rapper cast the 41-year-old as her love interest in the “Megatron” video, which features the couple hugging in a hot tub and room with neon lights.

Last December, it was revealed that Petty had been convicted for attempting to rape a 16-year-old girl.

Minaj, 36, first shared that she was seeing Petty in an Instagram post that same month.

She captioned a picture of herself with her leg wrapped around her new beau, saying, “Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happens? … it’s no secret … that the both of us … are running out of time..”

In March, Minaj sparked rumours that the pair tied the knot when she referred to Petty as her “husband” on her Apple Music show Queen Radio.

“Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought, and he massages my feet, and rubs them, and he rubs each toe individually, and the heel, and the ball of my foot, and he does it all,” she told her listeners, adding, “It’s just so sexy.”

The video for “Megatron” features scenes of Minaj and Petty in a hot tub and the lyrics: “I f — him like I miss him / He just came out of prison” — which might refer to Petty serving jail time for manslaughter and is a registered sex offender.

“Megatron” also follows a nearly three-month Twitter silence from Minaj, who resurfaced to announce the new track.
