8 year oldIn the mid-2000s, Lil Wayne and Birdman were given a $100 million advance from Universal Music Group when Weezy founded Young Money Entertainment as an imprint of Birdman's Cash Money Records, but now, it looks like Lil Wayne doubts that $70 million of that was spent on "royalties, marketing and recording expenses" like Birdman claims.
Lil Wayne is suing Birdman for $51 million at the moment, and as that process goes on, Weezy's legal team wants evidence of where exactly that $70 million ended up. Birdman has reportedly turned over 22,015 pages of legal documents, according to TMZ, but Lil Wayne's people say that nowhere in these documents does it say specifically how the $70 million dollars was used.
This news follow Lil Wayne calling out Birdman on "Grateful," and Birdman claiming that he never actually received a cope of Tha Carter V.
