After a memorable opening weekend, the competition is heating up at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

On Monday, figure skater Mirai Nagasu became the first woman in US history to land a triple axel at the Olympics. The Americans finished with the bronze, however, as Canada took gold in the team event.

The United States did win both slopestyle snowboarding events. On the women’s side, Jamie Anderson successfully defended the gold she won at the 2014 Olympics. On the men’s side, 17-year-old Red Gerard pulled off a shock win.
