Multiple people dead in US newspaper office shooting

AN INTERN at a local newspaper tweeted desperately for help as a shooter attacked his office. Five people were shot dead.
FIVE people have been shot dead and multiple people “gravely injured” inside a newspaper newsroom in the US.
Police were called to the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis, one hour south of Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday afternoon local time (Friday morning AEST).
“Active shooter at 888 Bestgate please help us,” tweeted Anthony Messenger, a Gazette intern, according to his Twitter account.
Messenger also tweeted that “an editor” had been shot.
