“OCSO working shooting scene that has stabilized. Multiple fatalities. Situation contained. Sheriff will brief as soon as info is accurate,” Orlando’s Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet earlier on Monday.
In a later tweet the Sherrif’s Office called it a “tragic incident”.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, a woman whose sister worked at the business where the shooting took place said her sister had heard shots while she was in the bathroom. “She came out and saw a man on the floor,” the woman said.
A nearby road to the crime scene had been shut down, the paper said.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that it would make a statement soon and brief the media on what has happened.
A year ago, the city - a hub of Florida’s resort industry popular with tourists - was the scene of a mass shooting in a gay nightclub that left 49 people dead and dozens more wounded.
