8 year oldStudents, rejoice! An Apple Music student plan has arrived, cutting the cost of the music streaming service by 50 percent, reported TechCrunch.
The student membership will be $4.99 per month, compared to the $9.99 per month for an individual membership, said TechCrunch.
The option will be available in the U.S., as well as the U.K., Germany,Denmark, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The cost of the membership will vary by country, but it will be 50 percent off the individual membership price for all eligible students.
Apple is working with UNiDAYS, a student verification technology provider, to ensure that those signing up are actually students, according to the TechCrunch report.
Apple declined to comment to CNBC.
