Jake Paul has shared a gruesome photo from his hospital bed in the wake of his “ass-whopping” from Anthony Joshua on Saturday.

The American suffered a sixth-round KO defeat at the hands of the former heavyweight world champion at the Kaseya Centre in Miami.

Paul shared after the fight he suffered a double broken jaw in the flurry of punches that saw him dazed on the floor before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

According to reports, Paul drove himself to hospital after skipping the post-fight press conference.

He shared a grim update on Sunday morning, showing X-ray images of his head following an emergency surgery procedure.

Paul had sustained serious damage as a result of a Joshua punch that saw the former YouTuber’s jaw contort in sickening fashion.

“2 titanium plates on each side. Some teeth removed. Have to have only liquids for 7 days.

“S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring.”

Despite the serious injury and his abysmal boxing display, Paul called out Mexican boxing monster Saul “Canelo” Alvarez from his hospital bed.

Paul earlier posted: “Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days.”

The 28-year-old even re-posted a message US President Donald Trump posted on Instagram.

The 47th President wrote: “On the plane I just got o watch the Jake Paul fight and he did really well, especially as a display of great courage against a very talented and large Anthony Joshua.

“Fantastic entertainment, but kudos to Jake for his stamina, and frankly, ability, against a much bigger man.”
