Golf legend Tiger Woods was charged with driving under the influence after being involved in a two-car crash in Jupiter Island, Fla. on Friday, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said.
Neither Woods nor the other driver suffered any serious injuries from the crash that caused Woods’s car to roll onto its side, the sheriff said. When officers arrived on the scene, Budensiek said that Woods demonstrated signs of impairment. While he didn’t have alcohol in his system, Budensiek said, Woods wouldn’t submit to a urine test at the jailhouse. He was also charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
This marks the second time that Woods has been arrested for driving under the influence.
