Is it the 2000s all over again? Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly heading for a split... again.
On Wednesday, it was reported that the pair have been “unable to make it work” and are set to split after just two years of marriage.
A source close to the pair reportedly told In Touch that Affleck has allegedly moved out of the pair’s home.
“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” the insider stated, adding, “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!”
It comes after the pair were seen for the first time together in over a month on Wednesday.
“He’s focusing on his work and his kids now. Ben already moved out, and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for,” the insider went on to say. “They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
News.com.au has reached out to the pair’s representatives for comment.
It’s been a tough year for Lopez so far, who was forced to “rebrand” after her tour failed to sell tickets.
According to TicketMaster’s website, Lopez has cancelled a series of concerts following poor ticket sales in the US and will no longer stop in Nashville, New Orleans, Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston, Cleveland and Tampa.
Last month, the name of the tour was changed from This Is Me … Now to This Is Me … Live | The Greatest Hits.
“The latest rebrand suggests a pivot from a tour focusing on the new album’s songs to one spanning her discography, a move that may entice listeners who didn’t connect with her latest material,” reported Page Six.
A source added that the tour would “convey the Jennifer Lopez live experience” and was not created solely for the music from her latest album. It is, however, a “celebration which includes the new album.”
Ticketmaster blamed the cancellations on “the event organiser” and gave ticketholders information on how to obtain refunds. Page Six was told at the time that the concerts could not be rescheduled because of a logistical issue through the promoter.
Not only is Lopez having tour trouble, but she also had issues selling her latest album.
After its February release, the project, which is her first studio album in over a decade, flopped on the Billboard 200 chart by debuting at No. 38. In Australia, the news was worse: It debuted at 82 on the ARIA charts.
