The Grammys always delivers a fashion spectacle – and thanks to Miley Cyrus’ showstopping “naked dress”, this year proved no exception.

That’s a wrap on the biggest event on the music biz calendar.

The 66th annual Grammy Awards took place Monday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with an action packed ceremony - but earlier, it was all about the spectacle of fashion unfolding on the red carpet.

The Grammys always deliver some of the best celebrity outfits of the year - and this time around proved no exception.

Leading the pack was Miley Cyrus in a truly showstopping, gold “naked” dress, looking like an absolute queen (or Xena, Warrior Princess, to be more precise):

Speaking of music royalty - enter Taylor Swift.

The Lover singer is due to spark a nation-wide meltdown in the coming days when she hits our shores to kick off her string of Aussie tour dates - but first are the Grammys, where she’s up for six awards:

Dua Lipa, whose megahit track from the Barbie film, Dance The Night Away, was nominated for two Grammys, arrived in a custom metal dress - and admitted to a red carpet reporter that while she felt “strong” in it, it was also (unsurprisingly) very “heavy”.

Her fellow Barbie songstress, Billie Eilish, paid homage to the iconic film with her Grammys outfit:

Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson, looked barely recognisable as herself, having covered up her more than 80 tattoos.

The 25-year-old star enlisted a celebrity makeup artist to help cover up her extensive signature ink, allowing her cut-out Celine gown to remain the focus.

Kat Graham somehow looked both like an opened envelope and the Pope:

Oh my goodness, Ed Sheeran - I didn’t even see you there! (Sorry, I’ll see myself out).

Our very own Kylie Minogue was breathtaking in a princess-like red gown, featuring thigh-high split and bodice detailing:

Actress Jameela Jamil went for the same hue, bringing her usual glam in a gown which paired perfectly with the iconic flooring.

She was there to support her British musician boyfriend James Blake, who received two nominations for this year’s event, including Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Kelly Osbourne was in a slim-fitting, sheer, corset-style dress - which she accessorised with a very on-theme sound system handbag:

“Embellished mullet tutu halter dress” is not a sentence I expected to type today, but 2024 is already full of surprises, partially thanks to YouTuber Veondre Mitchell:

I’m afraid I’m going to have to insist upon footage of Laverne Cox attempting to sit down once she got inside:

... and of Dawn Richards, whose invitation must have read BYOFA (Bring Your Own Floral Arbour).

Molly Tuttle’s outfit was giving Britney Spears in the Lucky music video and was therefore impossible for me to hate, TBH.

Landon Barker, best known as Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker’s son and Kourtney Kardashian’s stepson, looked dapper and also extremely thrilled to be there.

US poet, writer and activist Aja Monet embraced the sheer trend we’ve seen across the awards season so far, donning a full-length black gown with carefully-placed sequins:

The ceremony is being hosted for the fourth time by comedian Trevor Noah and will feature plenty of high-profile performances – including by legendary artists Joni Mitchell and Billy Joel, who is making his Grammys return after 22 years.

When it came to the gold-plated gramophones, SZA officially lead the pack heading into the show with nine nods, followed by Phoebe Bridgers, Victoria Monét and Serban Ghenea who earned seven nominations apiece. Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus each scored six.
