​Kim K’s most ‘staged’ look yet ​

Kim Kardashian has posted a series of bikini photos, and they might just be her least casual shots in years.

The reality star posted photos to Instagram in which she’s wearing a string bikini by the pool, looking incredibly glamorous.

She also took photos of her riding a bike at night in the bikini as part of the fun photo shoot, smiling from ear to ear.

“Night swims in Puglia,” she captioned the post.
 

The photos are unapologetically staged and an exciting switch up from her more serious and smouldering shots she often posts on Instagram.

Naturally, fans were quick to praise the lighthearted shoot.

“Bro, she isn’t even swimming,” someone joked.

“Doesn’t look like a night swim. Looks more like a photo shoot,” another commented.

“I miss this, Kimberley, 2009 era,” another wrote.

In the early days of Kardashian’s career, she was constantly posting super staged photos, but in recent years she’s dialled it back, opting for a curated but more low-key approach.

It was around 2012 Kardashian shifted her public image, the same time she began dating rapper and designer Kanye West.

At the time he was part of the fashion elite, introducing her to the world of high-end style and influencing her outfits.

Kardashian has since appeared on the cover of Vogue multiple times and has been dressed by some of the world’s best designers.
 

Kardashian has openly credited ex-husband Kanye West with helping her become embraced by the fashion world.

In 2021 when Kardashian accepted the People’s Choice Fashion Icon Award, she dedicated her win to West.

“I am honestly so humbled to be here. I started off as a closet organiser and a stylist, so the fact that I’m winning a Fashion Icon Award is a pinch-me moment,” she said.

Kardashian said she was “humbled” designers were even willing to work with her.

“There was a time when they weren’t. Thank you, Zac Posen who dressed me and took me to my first CFDA Awards and so many amazing designers, like Ricardo and Olivier, that really believed in me.”

She then thanked West for helping her make those connections and fighting for high fashion to take her seriously.

“Well, probably talked into it by getting a call from Kanye. So thank you to Kanye even for really introducing me to the fashion world. I fell in love with fashion.”
