1 year oldKelly Clarkson has shown off her drastic weight loss transformation, as fans begged the US singer to share her secret.
Clarkson, 41, shared a photo on Instagram Monday, prior to her performance at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, where she appeared notably slimmer than usual.
The mother-of-two also walked the orange carpet at the annual ‘We Can Survive’ concert, which is held on behalf of broadcast company Audacy to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
Thousands of the talk show host’s fans flooded the comment section of her post, pleading for her to open up about her health journey.
“Looking great, but you always did! another said, while a third added, “Looks like someone is taking their life back …”
A fourth questioned, “When did she lose it? It does not show on her current shows …”
Clarkson, who helms her namesake daytime talk series The Kelly Clarkson Show, last appeared on-air in June to wrap the fourth season. She’s due to return to screens this week.
The original American Idol winner has clearly embarked on some lifestyle changes while her show has been off-air, with some social media users accusing Clarkson of using diabetic drug, Ozempic, to trim down.
But fans rushed to Clarkson’s defence, with one saying “not every celebrity is using this to lose weight.”
“I feel that she lost weight because she wanted to lose weight,” a comment read. “She’s been busting her a** between her show, writing music, performing at different talk shows and preparing herself for the tour.”
While Clarkson, who split from her husband of seven years Brandon Blackstock in 2020, hasn’t spoken about her recent weight loss, she has previously expressed her desire to lose more than 20kg.
It comes after the Breakaway singer told fans last month she was still single in the wake of her separation – and was not looking to mingle.
“Do I have a boyfriend? No! And not looking. You know why? I love being single,” she shared with her fans during an Instagram Live on September 22.
“I have two kids, two dogs, three rabbits, a hamster, multiple jobs — there’s a lot going on.
“And, you know, you think you’re going to spend the rest of your life with somebody, and you don’t. That’s hard to start over.”
