Fans concerned for Jennifer Lopez as she disables Instagram comments amid divorce rumours

Fans noticed that comments on the singer and actress’ latest posts have been disabled.

These include announcements about the new margarita offering in her alcohol line Delola and her new Netflix movie, Atlas.

But fans can still comment on posts Lopez shared more than one week ago, and it is here that they have expressed their concerns.

“Comments off, tour cancelled. Are you okay, girl?!” one commented, while another concluded that their icon has been “getting attacked and bullied for months” so no wonder she’s disabled comments

“No she’s not okay,” another wrote. “Who would be okay after all the bullying and people talking sh*t about her and her marriage all day every day. She’s only human.”

One fan also told Lopez, “We love you Jlo, take time for yourself.”

The star’s famous friends have also showed their support.

Fellow Latina actress Eiza González has come out and slammed critics for their treatment of Lopez after she cancelled her tour to spend more time with her children and family.

I have to say the level of bullying that this woman has received in the last few months is so disturbing and heartbreaking,” González wrote via Instagram Story on Friday.

“People are humans, make mistakes and some have personal things happening while also having to be constantly perfect in the public eye,” she continued.

“The world is a pretty complicated place. The best thing we could be doing now is be kind. We have no clue what people are experiencing.”

Page Six also reports that Lopez’s former best friend, actress Leah Remini, has reached out with an olive branch.

According to outlet, the duo had a falling out when she reconnected with Affleck in 2021, with the longtime friends fighting over Remini’s concerns about the Batman actor.

It is said that Remini wanted Lopez to remember why she originally broke up with him when they first dated in 2002, but pleas fell on deaf ears and Lopez married Affleck in 2022.

Remini reportedly thinks Affleck is “selfish and is not fully committed as a partner” and the source said “J.Lo was so mad, she cut off all ties”.

The King Of Queens star was famously absent from the nuptials held at Affleck’s plush property in Georgia, with TMZ saying Remini was helping her 18-year-old daughter, Sofia, get ready to head off to college at the time.

Now that Lopez and Affleck are on the rocks — and rumours of divorce are making headlines — Page Six says Remini has been wanting to reconnect with her former best friend.

“They were friends for years,” the source said. “She wants to reach out to her, but she can’t just call up and say, ‘I told you so.’”

The pair have now reportedly spoken with Remini offering Lopez her support.
