1 year oldSam Asghari has unfollowed Britney Spears on Instagram two weeks after filing for divorce from the pop star.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed Monday, local time, that the dancer stopped keeping up with his estranged wife on the social media app.
Spears was just one of many casualties, as Asghari was following 327 Instagram accounts at the beginning of September but has since trimmed his list down to 240.
Several news outlets prematurely reported last week that the former personal trainer had unfollowed the Toxic singer online.
However, it appeared to be a glitch caused by Spears’ page briefly being deactivated, as she was back in Asghari’s “Following” section mere hours later.
The fitness model’s social media cleanse comes after he went to court on August 16 to end his 14-month marriage to the Grammy winner.
Asghari, 29, reportedly suspected that Spears, 41, was cheating on him with a member of her household staff, though sources insisted to Page Six that there was no infidelity.
However, rumours are swirling the Baby One More Time singer has been getting close to her former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz, who allegedly has a criminal record.
Since her split from Asghari, Spears has been busy preparing for the October 24 release of her highly anticipated memoir, The Woman in Me, and planning her first album since 2016.
The Crossroads star has also managed to find time to get three new tattoos and go topless while horseback riding in Mexico.
Spears and Asghari met in October 2016, got engaged in September 2021 and tied the knot in June 2022.
The entertainer was previously married to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons: Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16.
The teenagers moved to Hawaii in August with their father.
Preston and Jayden have not seen their mother in nearly two years.
