Donald Trump has said that Iran poses “big threats” to his life and that he is surrounded by armed security after two apparent attempts to assassinate him.
“Big threats on my life by Iran,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday. “The entire US military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again.”
Although it is unclear if the “real and specific” threats he referred to are new or had previously been reported, he also commented on his security arrangements.
“I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before,” Trump wrote in a similar post on X.
Trump’s campaign spokesman, Steven Cheung, added in a statement:

The US president has been vague about what victory looks like for both allies, leaving their leaders to pursue their own agenda
