3 year oldThe very first look at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s highly-anticipated exclusive 90-minute interview with Oprah has landed, and it’s delivered in spades.
During the trailer, it is clear that there will be no topic “off limits”, with Oprah asking Meghan very plainly: “Were you silent, or were you silenced?”
She also asked if there was “a breaking point” which led the couple to step back from the Royal family in January 2020.
Meghan’s answer is not shown, but the forlorn look on her face says a lot.
Prince Harry explains that his biggest concern was “history repeating itself,” with reference to his late mother, Princess Diana.During a second preview, Harry goes into more detail, making a huge jab toward his father Prince Charles and the rest of the royal family for not being there for Diana during her highly publicised time in the family.
“You know, for me, I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her [Princess Diana] going through this process by herself all those years ago,” he says. “Because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.”

“You’ve said some pretty shocking things here …” Oprah tells the couple as the preview concludes.
The interview was filmed at the Sussexes’ home in Montecito, which happens to be the same neighbourhood Oprah lives in.
During the preview, Meghan is wearing a long belted black dress, with white detailing on her shoulder.
Prince Harry dons a grey suit.
The interview, dubbed an “intimate conversation”, will air on Sunday March 7 in the US on the CBS network.
Afterwards, CBS will release it for “global distribution” although it is unclear which UK and Australian channels will air the interview.

WHAT WILL IT COVER?
According to the network’s initial release, the special will cover “wide-ranging” topics, such as motherhood and philanthropy.
It comes after the couple announced they are expecting their second child and after they completely ditched their royal duties.
According to CBS, the focus of the interview will start solely on Meghan before bringing Prince Harry in for further insights.
While the couple have remained tight-lipped about moving away from royal life in the past, they plan to speak “about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family,” says the press release.
“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.
“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”
According to Oprah’s friend and colleague Gayle King, Oprah has called it the “best interview” she’s ever done.
