7 year oldBill O’Reilly will be returning Monday with a new episode on his “No Spin News” podcast, according to an update on his website late Saturday. The former Fox News host will be publicly speaking since the cable news cut ties with him following a sexual harassment scandal.
Those with premium membership to O’Reilly’s website will be able to access “No Spin News” podcast. He will also set to have a new Twitter, moving on from his “The O’Reilly Factor” account.
O’Reilly’s downfall in his 20-year relationship with Fox News came after the New York Times reported earlier this month that five women were paid $13 million to settle harassment allegations against the 67-year-old host. This led to several advertisers pulling their ads from “The O’Reilly Factor”
Following the report, the cable news announced that O’Reilly will not continue with the news channel.
“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” parent company 21st Century Fox said in a statement.
He did not get a chance to say goodbye to his viewers as he was on vacation at the time. On Friday, Fox News aired its final episode of “The Factor,” hosted by Greg Gutfeld hosting its final episode.
On April 19, O’Reilly issued a statement on his departure from Fox News saying: “Over the past 20 years at Fox News, I have been extremely proud to launch and lead one of the most successful news programs in history, which has consistently informed and entertained millions of Americans and significantly contributed to building Fox into the dominant news network in television. It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims. But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today. … . I wish only the best for Fox News Channel.”
