NBC Gets More Misconduct Complaints About Matt Lauer, Hours After His Firing

NBC said it fired the “Today’’ co-anchor after receiving a detailed complaint about sexual misconduct. One of the new complaints involves a 2001 encounter in his office.
The NBC host Matt Lauer has been fired over a sexual harassment allegation. He interviewed world leaders, hosted NBC’s flagship events and was one of the network’s highest paid hosts.
