It's hard to tell which live singer of the two is the famous pop star, right? In fact, we're a bit partial to the latter performance.
Brown, 14, stunned viewers Tuesday night with a pitch-perfect and soulful cover of Perry's Olympic anthem during the AGT semi-finals. The song earned her a standing ovation from judge Heidi Klum.
But wait, where did that singer come from? If you forgot she was on the show, it's probably because the last time she appeared on national TV was a month ago, when her version of Rise Up (we sense a theme with her song choices) earned her the Golden Buzzer from One Directioner Louis Tomlinson.
"That voice, for a 14-year-old, such a gorgeous recording voice," Tomlinson said after he pushed the button that sent her straight to the live shows.
