Zendaya dressed to impress while helping to induct Cher into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The actress channelled the Believe hitmaker at the ceremony on Saturday in a beaded gold dress that featured criss-cross ab cutouts and a sheer skirt with a high slit.
The vintage Bob Mackie Couture halter gown was from the designer’s Fall 2001 collection called “Foreign Intrigue.”
The look was similar to Cher’s iconic dress from 1972.
Zendaya’s look was also styled with the same white satin coat that was worn on the runway over two decades ago.
The Euphoria star, 28, completed the ensemble with gold Christian Louboutin heels, gold bracelets and diamond earrings. She also paid homage to Cher by wearing her hair long and straight with a middle part.
The actress’ longtime stylist, Law Roach, gave more details on the showstopping look on his Instagram Story.
“Fall 2001 Bob Mackie Couture collection, Foreign Intrigue,” Roach, 46, posted on Saturday.
“White silk satin trench coat, with dramatic collar and cuffs, embroidered in gold and diamond iridescent bugle beads and stones.”
He added, “Nude illusion halter-gown, entirely hand-beaded in gold, diamond and iridescent bugle beads and aurora-borialus [sic] stones.”
Roach also shared a video of Zendaya modelling the dress backstage.
She twirled and blew a kiss to the camera while Cher’s Dressed to Kill played in the background.
Mackie, 84, also shared photos of the Challengers star’s look via Instagram, which prompted excited reactions from fans.
“This is fully a Cher Show-era reference,” one fan wrote, while another gushed, “Wow!!!! Incredible look. Totally giving Cher vibes!!!!!”
The actress looked on while Cher, 78, gave a speech as she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the “Performers” category.
The two later posed for a snapshot backstage with Dua Lipa.
For her big moment, Cher rocked an all-leather number featuring a chic corset and mini-skirt. The pop legend also added a leather jacket and thigh-high leather boots.
Other A-listers at the event included Julia Roberts, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson and Teyana Taylor.
