Sam Smith is single again after splitting from fashion designer boyfriend Christian Cowan.
And, according to The Sun, the British singer is back on celebrity dating app Raya.
Smith and Cowan have been dating since January 2023 and were last pictured together on December 14.
The pop star is said to be hopeful they’ll find a new partner in 2024 and has begun casually exploring their options.
The relationship is believed to have run its course after a year and the pair called it quits during the festive season.
A source confirmed the break-up to Mail Online and explained that Smith is already back on the apps.
The insider said: “Sam and Christian decided to end their relationship before Christmas.
“They’re still friends and will continue to support each other in their respective careers but for now they have separated.
“Sam has signed back up to dating app Raya and is already connecting with new people … it’s a new year and fresh start for them.”
Cowan has a host of celebrity clients, including Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.
He designed the costumes for Smith’s music video, I’m Not Here To Make Friends.
The pair were first snapped kissing in New York a year ago, and were later spotted together in London and Paris.
Smith previously dated actor Brandon Flynn, who starred in 13 Reasons Why, but the duo split in 2018 after eight months of dating.
A source told The Sun at the time: “They really fell for each other but they are both so busy with their careers and unfortunately things just haven’t worked out.
“Sam is obviously devastated. This is the most significant relationship they have ever had.”
Smith came out as non-binary in 2019, the year after splitting with Flynn.
