Jennifer Lopez posts steamy shirtless tribute to Ben Affleck for Father’s Day

Jennifer Lopez has bucked the traditional Father’s Day tribute, opting instead for a steamier public offering to her husband, Ben Affleck.

To mark the occasion, the Let’s Get Loud singer shared a shirtless selfie picture of the actor on her Instagram feed alongside a gushing caption.

“Daddy Appreciation Post. Happy Father’s Day Papa,” she wrote. “And Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Papas out there!

“We love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know.”
 

Lopez and Affleck tied the knot last year, creating a blended family which includes five children.

The singer has 15-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex Marc Anthony, while Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner share three kids: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

While there was plenty of praise for Affleck’s physique among her 247 million Instagram followers, many others questioned why none of their children – or the father of her twins – had been featured.

“Best dad … not one pic of him with his kids or hers,” wrote one follower, while another echoed: “And yet not one picture with his children.”

“Why would you post a picture of your husband half-naked and then talk about Father’s Day?” questioned a different user.

“Weird post,” one wrote simply, with another describing it as “somewhat cringe”.

“J.Lo, it’s Father’s Day, not Valentine’s,” someone joked.
 

Affleck and Lopez were first engaged in 2002, with plans to marry the following year, but postponed their wedding and split in January 2004.

They rekindled their romance in early 2021 and announced their engagement (round two) last year.

Lopez and Affleck eventually tied the knot at The Little White Wedding Chapel last year and hosted a lavish, second wedding at their multimillion-dollar estate in Georgia a month later.
