The resulting song — ignored by virtually everyone in the world until this week, when Tiffany took the stage at the Republican National Convention — makes Rebecca Black’s Friday sound like John Lennon’s Imagine.
Titled Like A Bird, the ethereal club song is so heavy on the autotune Tiffany sounds more like Siri than an actual human being. She’s helped on the track by rappers Sprite and Logic (no, we don’t know who they are either).
“Everybody’s partyin’, obsessing over crazy things, I just want serenity,” is one of the only decipherable lyrics in the dodgy single, which never troubled the charts upon release but is still available to download on Amazon.
One canny YouTuber has already mashed the song up with Tiffany’s appearance at the Republican National Convention - never has old white people dancing awkwardly looked so powerfully hypnotic:
“I wanna fly away ... take me away ...” Tiffany, after listening to this song we know the feeling.
Surely the only logical next step for the Democratic Presidential campaign is for Chelsea Clinton to surprise-drop a stone cold club banger.
