President Biden caught ‘nibbling’ on little girl’s shoulder

US President Joe Biden has been caught on camera ‘nibbling’ on a little girl’s shoulder in a bizarre and “creepy” exchange.

The president appeared to nibble on the shoulder of a frightened young girl during his departure from Helsinki back to Washington DC on Thursday.

The 80-year-old leader was in Finland following the NATO summit in Lithuania. 

The clip showed Biden leaning into the girl and placing his mouth on her shoulder as he moved his mouth in a gobbling motion before resting it on her shoulder and continuing to nibble.

The child, who was being held by a woman believed to be her mother, looked terrified and later turned away when the president attempted to kiss her on the head.

The woman and a man watching on chuckled at the interaction, but the young girl appeared horrified and scowled at him, and he backed away. 

The moment has gone viral on social media, prompting a barrage of different reactions.

Some labelled the interaction as “strange”, while others even went as far as to say he should be in a nursing home.

“This is quite strange,” Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz posted on Twitter alongside the clip.

“Oops’, Republican Senator Ted Cruz added.

“Biden should be in a nursing home, not leading the free world,” Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.'

“This has got to be Biden’s creepiest moment yet with a child,” Conservative activist Caleb Hull said.

“All Biden has to do is not do this and he can’t.”

In October, Biden was slammed on social media after telling a young girl not to have a serious romantic relationship until she turned 30. 

“Now a very important thing I told my daughters and granddaughters – no serious guys until you’re 30!” he said to the unknown young woman at an event in Irvine, California.

“OK, I’ll keep that in mind” she replied as the president leaned in close.

During a speech to the National Education Association one month earlier, the president left people scratching their heads following a cryptic remark about his friendship with a 12-year-old girl when he was 30.

The bizarre comment occurred when Biden interrupted his speech to address a woman in the crowd that he apparently knew many years ago.

“And everybody found out, there’s not a lot of total climate deniers anymore after they’ve seen what happened this year. But guess what, we got a lot to do,” he said.
 

He then pointed into the crowd and in a low voice, said, “You gotta say hi to me.” 

The crowd laughed and the president explained further.

“We go back a long way. She was 12, and I was 30, but anyway,” he said.

“This woman helped me get an awful lot done. Anyway.”

In 2021, Biden told a young girl that she looked 19 because she had “her legs crossed”during a speech to military families in Virginia ahead of Memorial Day.

“I love those barrettes in your hair,” he said to the girl in the audience in the middle of his speech. 

“Man, I’ll tell you what, look at her. She looks like she’s 19 years old, sitting there like a little lady with her legs crossed.”

On another occasion in June 2017, Biden discussed his younger days serving as a lifeguard at a pool in Delaware, describing how children would rub his wet leg hair.

“I got hairy legs that turned blonde in the sun,” he said.
 

“And the kids used to come up and reach into the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and watch the hair come back up again.”

He added that he “learned about kids jumping on my lap, and I loved kids jumping on my lap.”

One of the most famous instances of Biden’s awkward exchanges with children was seen in 2015 when he was serving as vice president.

During his swearing-in ceremony for another state term, he could be seen whispering into the ear of Senator Chris Coons’ daughter.

In a clip of the exchange, the girl appeared visibly uncomfortable and pulled away when Biden tried to kiss her on the cheek.

However, Coons later defended the president, telling Fox News in an interview at the time that his daughter didn’t think he was “creepy.
