Kim Kardashian gets slammed on Instagram for North West's hoop earrings

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to controversial fashion choices because, well, haters gonna hate, right? But what we didn't expect is for fans to start trolling what her daughter, North West wears.

Yep, it seems trolls decided that anyone's outfit is fair game, with a big slog of mum-shaming coming Kim's way.

So what are they kicking off about? Is it much ado about nothing, or do they kinda have a point? 

Let's rewind back to last night, when Kim shared this picture of the pair on on Instagram with the caption "Pinky swear we’re besties for life!!!"

Kim's friends and family were quick to praise the photo with the likes of Khloé Kardashian writing:

You two are amazing!!!! Besties for life ❤️

And Ash Kholm adding: 

Coolest mom ever !

It wasn't long, however, until the comment section took a turn, with trolls calling Kim out over the size of North's earrings:

Ok I never say anything bad regarding anyone’s kids, but, North has no business wearing hoops that big at what, 6? They’re gonna pull on her little holes

Hey I know youd like to see your kids all stylish and cool. But she's too small to be wearing such a big hoop! Will affect her ear hole in the future. Two sizes smaller would have been okay . ? but still some love to you ❤️

Fans were quick to defend Kim, saying the hoops might not even belong to North:

Kim isn’t wearing earrings, so I assume she took hers off to let North wear them for fun. She (North) probably asked. Her ear will be fine bc she probably didn’t have them on long 

look at her Kim’s ears ; it’s apparent that she ‘borrowed’ them from her mom. Little girls play dress up all the time with anything they can get their hands on; including earrings. ?

Others didn't understand what all the fuss was about, saying:

Y’all do realize she’s North’s mom and if she allows her to wear hoops oh damn well! Y’all be acting like y’all perfect parents!
