Sean “Diddy” Combs is sorry.

The 46-year-old rapper apologized to the masses on Friday, posting a candid video on his Instagram about being a “shining example of changing for the better.”

“I think we can all get better! I truly believe people can change and I want to be a shining example of changing for the better!!” he captioned the video. “Add me on snap PUFFDADDY for daily motivation and inspiration!! #LetsGO #teamLOVE.”

The record producer went on to elaborate on his change of heart in the video. “All this week I’ve really tried to be conscious on how I speak to people,” Combs began. “Sometimes I’m very very harsh. At the end of the day, I’m just trying to, you know, get better.”

“I was just on a phone call, and I didn’t really like the way it was going down, so I said, 'Let me call you back,’ you know? And I think that was the best thing. So I’m feeling like I’m getting better, every day. And all I can do is try,” he continued. “And to anybody out there I’ve ever talked to you wrong, or like an a**hole, I’m sorry. But I’m a work in progress, and I’m going to get better.

NEWS: Sean 'Puff Daddy’ Combs Retiring From Music to Focus on Acting

It seems Combs is trying to change his notoriously opinionated attitude. The father of six was arrested in June 2015 at a UCLA training facility after an altercation with one of his son’s, Justin, football coaches, in which he swung a kettle ball during a heated argument.

While felony charges against the music mogul were ultimately dropped, Combs later opened up about the incident, calling it a “miscommunication.”

“At the end of the day, it’s just about communication to me,” he told Power 105’s The Breakfast Club in August.

“When you have a child that plays sports, you’re actually giving your child up to those coaches,” he explained. “As a Combs, my sons, they have to be able to take a lot – you can’t have no soft skin. But I think there’s a fine line, too, and I think that there’s times when you have to just communicate, and find out what’s going on and be by your children’s side.”

And while it appears that Combs has turned over a new leaf, nothing will stop him from protecting him family. “One thing you gotta do is be there for your kids 110 percent,” he said. “So as a father or a mother, anyone can relate to if you feel you have to go straighten something out for your child.”
