Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and another individual during a sensational mid-90s trial

O.J. Simpson, the former NFL football star who was accused of murdering two people, including his ex-wife, has died, according to a post on his social-media account. He was 76 years old.

He died Wednesday of cancer, a post on Simpson’s X account said, which was attributed to the Simpson family.
