NICOLAS Cage and his wife Alice Kim have separated after 12 years of marriage.

The couple met and wed in 2004 when Kim, 32, was his waitress at a restaurant in Los Angeles. They have one child together, 10-year-old Kal-El Coppola Cage.
Cage was previously married to Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette.
