6 year oldThe disgraced newsman’s four-bedroom Upper East Side pad at 133 E. 64th Street has just been listed for sale, as he continues to recede from public life following the breakup of his marriage to former model Annette Roque.
It is the same apartment where Lauer was visited in person by NBC News head honcho Andy Lack to deliver the news he was fired last November.
It was also the place Lauer lived in during the week while hosting NBC’s “Today” while his wife remained in the Hamptons.
The listing online says, “this beautiful pre-war 11-room apartment is in triple-mint condition in perfect taste with a classic layout, elegant room proportions and a spectacular master bedroom suite,” which in hindsight doesn’t quite sound so appealing.
The pad features a rectangular living room, custom book shelves, a parquet hardwood floor and a wood-burning fireplace.
The master bedroom also includes two his and hers marble master bathrooms, and two large dressing rooms — plus photos included with the listing show a male closet packed full of TV-ready suits.
Lauer’s Hamptons home is also on the market. Originally asking $18 million, it is now listed for $12.75 million.
Reps for Lauer didn’t get back to us.
