5 year oldCoroner office officials say former model and actress Kim Porter, longtime girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs and mother to three of his children, died last year from pneumonia.
The Los Angeles coroner’s office has released the results of its investigation into Porter’s November 15 death. Investigators determined after an autopsy that her death was from natural causes.
The 47-year-old US model was found at her Toluca Lake, California home.
Combs was heartbroken over Porter’s death, giving a moving eulogy at her funeral in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia.
Numerous celebrities, including Usher, Mary J. Blige, Lil’ Kim and producer Russell Simmons attended the ceremony, which ended with fireworks.
Combs, 49, called Porter “more than a soulmate” in a tweet after her death.
The pair, who started dating in the mid-1990s and spilt in 2007, had three children —
Jessie James, D’Lila, and Christian.
Porter also had a son, Quincy, from her relationship with R&B singer, Al B Sure. Later, Diddy adopted Quincy

In his eulogy, Combs paid tribute to Porter, saying “some people in your life that’s gonna be irreplaceable”.
“Kim, we gonna miss you so much. But I ain’t gonna miss you too much because I’m not gonna let your voice inside of me stop talking. I know you like to talk to me a lot once you get on those rants, and I just want you to know I’m gonna be listening.”
Combs told mourners he credited Porter with teaching him “how to love”, and with helping him through a bout of depression.
Porter, 47, was buried next to her mother, Sarah Lee Porter, who died in 2014.
