6 year oldLAST month Kim Kardashian returned to Paris for the first time since her 2016 robbery.
But despite the reality TV star appearing to move on from her terrifying ordeal, the 37-year-old admits to now taking extreme precautions when it comes to her safety.
Writing for website Wealthsimple, Kim revealed that she has a team of security “on every edge” of her property, despite living in a gated community.
“It’s just what I have to do to make me feel safe or make me able to sleep at night. And I think that had to happen after what happened in Paris,” she said.
Kim said the robbery has “definitely” changed how she lived her life and what the reality TV star shared with her fans.
“I never say my whereabouts. And if I do, I make sure there is tons of security outside. I will do something, save it, and then post it when I leave,” she explained.

“I think I really attribute that experience that I had in Paris to helping me shut down and completely not worry about the digital world and live in the moment and at home and with my kids and my family and my husband.”
In October 2016, Kim was robbed at gunpoint of $14 million worth of jewellery, including a ring worth $6 million, by five intruders dressed as police while staying in an exclusive hotel during Paris Fashion Week.
During an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed she had feared being shot if she tried to escape during the incident.
“They ask for money. I said ‘I don’t have any money’,” she said. “They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs.
“That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs.”
