Kim Kardashian ‘humiliated’ over rumours Jeffree Star hooked up with Kanye West

Kim Kardashian was once friends with Jeffree Star and she’s now “humiliated” over rumours he hooked up with Kanye West.

The beauty YouTuber denied ever having an affair with the rapper after a TikToker started the false rumour, but the gossip has reportedly left his friendship with Kim in tatters.

Despite all the issues they have right now, Jeffree, 35, and Kim, 40, used to be very close friends as they both live in the same neighbourhood and are owners of their own beauty brands, The Sun reports.

Back in 2017, the two were photographed together as the Jeffree Cosmetics founder attended Kim’s KKW launch party, despite fans believing he wouldn’t show up as he had an ongoing feud with Kylie Jenner after he consistently criticised her beauty brand.

Jeffree also shared a selfie with Kim on his Instagram, writing: “Serving you #Contour Queen realness.

“Congrats @kimkardashian on the launch of #KKWBeauty.”

Their friendship reached an all-time high when Kim defended Jeffree after he was accused once more for being racist.

She said on an Instagram video: “I see that my fans are totally hating on someone like Jeffree Star for being honest about my struggle swatches, but because of his remarks, I’m learning from the best, like from Mario, how to swatch properly.

“And I see you being so petty, bringing up things in his past where he was negative, but he’s also apologised for those things.

“I get it’s a serious deal if you say racial things, but I do believe in people changing, and people that apologise, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and accept that people change and move on.”

However, Kim took her defence for Jeffree back and apologised to her fans, as she said: “Hey guys, so I really wanted to apologise to you guys and my fans for defending a situation yesterday that I really didn’t know enough about.

“I just feel a bit naive and I do wanna really apologise for me feeling like I had the right to say ‘get over it’ in a situation that involves racism.

“I just don’t really feel like I have the right to speak on that, and I really, really, really am sorry.

“So I really am sorry, and I just want to move forward and be positive. And my last message is that just, I do believe that people are born to love and born with love and they’re taught to hate, so I have always had hopes that people can change and learn to be better and do better, and learn to find that love again, so never give up hope.”

Sadly, their relationship fully disintegrated after a TikTok user claimed that the reason why Kim and Kanye broke up was because of Jeffree.

Ava Louise said in a video that she wasn’t surprised at reports Kim and Kanye were divorcing and falsely claimed: “Kanye’s been hooking up with a very famous beauty guru, male beauty guru, a lot of people in the scene have known for a while.

“A lot of people in the scene have known for a while.”

The influencer admitted she had no “concrete evidence” to back up her claims, though alleged she first heard the rumour from an entertainment lawyer in LA. She later admitted she had made up the story.

But some fans believed the alleged affair was real after Jeffree made the move to buy a home in Wyoming and snapped a picture of himself holding a chicken while visiting a home close to Kanye’s infamous ranch.

Following the video, Jeffree took to his YouTube channel to furiously deny the allegations, saying: “I’m single ... I’m not sleeping with anyone.

“This is so weird … this is so stupid. Let me just say this one time … I like very tall men,” he added.

Jeffree – who is worth over $200 million – is just over 6’ tall while the Yeezy mogul stands at 5’7” (170 centimetres).

To further shut down the rumours, Jeffree continued: “Me and Kanye have never hung out.

“And this whole thing is really funny. I get why people are really laughing about this.

“In an old song of mine from 2009 called B***h Please, I say a line about Kanye.

“But it was very like Eminem. I mentioned like 50 celebrities,” he added of his dance track.

However, a source claimed that Jeffree only denied the rumours publicly when Kim begged him to do so.

A source close to Kim revealed to The Sun that the SKIMS founder or someone on her team told Jeffree he needed to shut down the rumours.

According to the insider, Kim and her entourage “made it clear to Jeffree to stop fuelling the rumours with his social media posts.

“Jeffree was asked to set the record straight and that’s why he made the YouTube video.

“He loved the attention and otherwise would’ve kept fanning the flames as long as he could have.”

The source went on to say that: “Kim is humiliated by everything with Jeffree and the divorce as a whole.

“She has lot of friends and a lot of respect in the makeup world so she was embarrassed with all of those Jeffree rumours.”

Following this drama, the TikTok star who began the rumour came clean and revealed she had indeed made it up, saying: “There is literally not one bit of truth to anything I have said.

“I just tricked the entire world into talking about me again because I was on a lot of Adderall and bored. And that’s on being iconic.”

She then turned the camera on herself and said: “We all had fun though, didn’t we? You’re welcome for the memes.”

The video concluded with Ava blowing a kiss to the camera.

Earlier last week, reports surfaced that Kim is “done” with her marriage and is preparing to split from Kanye.

The former powerhouse couple — who married in 2014 — have four kids together; North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1.
