Iranian dissident filmmaker Jafar Panahi won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday for his revenge thriller “It Was Just an Accident″. The Grand Prix went to Joachim Trier for “Sentimental Value”; the Jury Prize was awarded to Oliver Laxe for "Sirat" (Spain-France) and Mascha Schilinski for "Sound of Falling" (Germany); and the Best Director went to Kleber Mendonça Filho for "The Secret Agent" (Brazil).
