The lawsuit also states that Lace refused to undergo a paternity test and that she demanded money for the baby she claimed to be having. When Drake denied those requests, she allegedly hired a lawyer to pursue accusations that he raped her during their encounter in February 2017. Drake’s legal counsel maintains that police in Manchester cleared him after looking into the matter but that Lace continued to demand money in exchange for keeping quiet about her claims.
Yahoo has reached out to Stein, the attorney representing Drake, for comment. Lace, meanwhile, appears to have made her social media accounts private.
