The concierge of the Paris hotel where Kim Kardashian was robbed has had to come out and defend why he stayed so level-headed.
According to reports from TMZ, Kim had an extensive phone interview with police telling them about the robbery.
She detailed how the concierge was handcuffed when he opened the door and after Kim asked him if they were “going to die” he calmly replied, “I don’t know”.
He was reportedly asked “where is the wife of the rapper” and then forced at gunpoint to lead them to Kardashian’s room.

His behaviour has raised a lot of speculation in the media with some claiming the robbery could be an inside job due to its quick, almost easy execution.
The concierge has since penned an open letter for French magazine Closer defending himself.
“Dear Kim: When you feel the cold steel of a gun at your neck, it is the moment when remaining calm can mean the difference of life or death, both our lives.
I hope you are feeling better.”
On Monday morning Kardashian was tied up, held at gunpoint and then robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewellery by the five men before they reportedly fled on bicycles.
