Ariana Grande breaks silence after concert blast: ‘I am so, so sorry’

ARIANA Grande is ‘broken’ and the entertainment industry is reeling today after a blast at her Manchester concert killed 19 people.

The explosion, which is understood to have occurred outside the venue in the minutes after the concert had finished, has left 19 people dead and more than 50 injured.

Manchester Police say the scene is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police know otherwise.

The incident happened at around 10:35pm local time in Manchester. Grande herself was not hurt in the blast, but tweeted several hours after the incident that she was “broken.”

“From the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words,” she wrote.

Earlier, TMZ earlier reported that she was “in hysterics” and “in no condition to perform.”

Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted a statement saying that “our hearts are broken”:

The next scheduled concert of her Dangerous Woman world tour, which visits Australia in September, was set to take place at London’s O2 Arena this Thursday May 25. It’s understood that concert will not go ahead and TMZ now reports that the remaining 13 dates of the European leg of the tour have been put on hold.
