US Midterm Elections: High profile players weight in on the vote

CELEBRITIES across the US have headed to the polls to vote in the country’s midterm elections.

Stars including Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde, Blake Lively, Mariska Hargitay, Jada Pinkett Smith and Justin Timberlake all took to social media to show off their “I voted” stickers and to encourage fans to do the same.

Actress Olivia Wilde went on Instagram implore her followers to “go be awesome and VOTE”.

Fellow thespian Blake Lively posted a pic of her and birthday boy husband Ryan Reynolds, describing him as the “Sexiest Voter Alive”.
