Two charges: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress

Articles follow probe that involved more than 100 hours of deposition testimony from 17 witnesses

WASHINGTON—House Democrats announced two articles of impeachment against President Trump on Tuesday.
The Judiciary Committee will pursue an article of impeachment on abuse of power related to allegations that Mr. Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate a political rival. The second article will deal with obstruction of Congress, related to the president’s moves to block aides from participating in the impeachment investigation.
