8 year oldSnapchat now has more daily users, with a report in Bloomberg saying the social media app had jumped to 150 million people sending snaps every day, up f-rom 110 at the start of the year and ahead of Twitter which has fewer than 140 million users.
Snapchat users now watch 10 billion videos a day, jumping up f-rom 8 billion just four months ago.
Twitter now sits behind Facebook, which is still the most popular social media, Instagram, Messenger and Whatsapp.
Snapchat has grown to its new popularity because of the enormous take-up by teenagers and young adults.
A recent study by GlobalWeb Index market research firm found that 65 per cent of Australian teenagers have Snapchat account.
