6 year oldWANT to know what the next iPhone will look like? This video might help.
A YouTuber has shown off stunning concept images of Apple’s 2018 iPhone, based on all the rumours and leaks so far.
The EverythingApplePro video shows off three different models, which fits with the rumours we’ve heard so far.
One of these models is tipped to be the largest-screened iPhone model ever.
Another is said to be the same size as last year’s iPhone X, with a few upgraded specs — the iPhone 9, perhaps?
And then there’s supposed to be a smaller and less expensive model that borrows the flagship design, but with fewer features.
The video hints we’ll see a smaller “notch”, which is the small cutout at the top of the screen that houses the camera and some other sensors.
It’s also likely the phones will be upgraded with a new Apple chip — probably the upcoming Apple A12 processor.
It also expected that the new Apple phones will feature larger batteries.
That’s no major surprise: if Apple is introducing bigger, higher-quality screens, it’ll need bigger batteries to make sure you don’t run out of charge too quickly.
The video also showed off some snaps of what a 2019 iPhone model might look like — with zero notch.
Apple hasn’t confirmed anything about its next smartphones however, so take this video with a pinch of salt.
These 3D concept renders are based on leaks and rumours, so the new iPhone models may differ and as many commentators have noted, the pace of advancements in smartphones has steadily declined since the early days of the industry.
In any case, we’ve got a while to wait to find out — Apple typically unveils new iPhones in September at a special press event in California. But there’ll no doubt be plenty more speculation until then.
