Kanye West Is Probably Pissed About His Surprise Coachella Appearance

His set with A$AP Rocky was shorter than expected.

Leave it to Kanye West to try to upstage LCD Soundsystem's big headlining reuni-on show at Coachella. Ye made a surprise appearance during A$AP Rocky's set on Friday to perform "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" f-rom The Life of Pablo. The crowd went nuts seeing West make his second surprise appearance in two years (in 2015 he crashed the Weeknd's set). Unfortunately for West, things didn't go exactly as planned when his microphone was pretty quickly cut. As Rolling Stone reports:

After the "Father Stretch My Hands" performance, both rappers departed the stage after discovering their microphones had been cut, which elicited boos f-rom the audience.

According to the Los Angeles Times, "The rapper had taken the stage about 12 minutes late, a serious no-no at Coachella. He blamed the delay on high winds, which he said had led the festival to demand he position a giant video screen lower than he'd intended."
