The rapper allegedly engaged in a heated argument with a woman at his Los Angeles apartment, and is accused of striking her on the back of her head, TMZ reports.
LAPD spokeswoman officer Lizeth Lomeli told Us Weekly that Brown, 32, is under investigation for battery in relation to the alleged altercation that went down on Friday, June 18 at his home in the San Fernando Valley.

“The female (alleged) victim advised she and the suspect argued and the suspect struck her,” Lomeli said. “A crime report for battery was completed.”
It is unclear whether or not Brown will face charges.
The Grammy-winner took to his Instagram Stories following the new allegations, simply writing, “YALL SO DAMN (cap emoji).” A cap emoji and the word ‘cap’ is slang for a lie.
It’s the second time cops have been called to Brown’s home in the past two months, with police shutting down his 32nd birthday party back in May.
In 2009, Brown was arrested and charged for physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

He pleaded guilty to the felony assault and completed his probation in 2015, in addition to community service and domestic violence counselling.
In 2015, Brown was denied access to Australia when the government rejected his visa application, despite having concert dates set.
Brown’s One Hell of a Nite tour was booked in to play four shows in Australia before heading to New Zealand.
He was previously banned from entering Britain and Canada.
