Proposed June 8 vote aimed at bolstering Conservative party ahead of Brexit talks
British Prime Minister Theresa May said on Tuesday she will seek an early election for the U.K., to be held on June 8.
May said she is seeking to strengthen the ruling Conservative party's position heading into the negotiations for Brexit.
