8 year oldFormer British Prime Minister David Cameron announced Monday he will step down from his position in Parliament.
Cameron resigned from his post as prime minister in June in the wake of his failure to persuade a majority of Britons to support continued membership in the European Union.
He said at the time he planned to remain in Parliament.
He has been replaced as prime minister by Theresa May, who is overseeing the process to remove Britain from the European Union, also known as Brexit.
