Nigerian Economy Grows Quicker Than Expected in Third Quarter

Nigeria’s economy grew at a slightly faster pace than expected in the third quarter.

Gross domestic product expanded an annual 3.98% in the three months through September, compared with growth of 4.2% in the prior quarter, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday. The median estimate of three economists in a Bloomberg survey was 3.8%.
