7 year oldTwo-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has emerged from surgery and is resting, according to a tweet by WWE contributor Peter Rosenberg and other reports.
The prognosis for the 68-year-old wrestling legend remains unknown as do the specifics of the surgery. Flair’s family, including daughter Ashley (who wrestles as Charlotte), are said to be with him in the hospital.
Flair was reportedly put in a medically induced coma earlier Monday in advance of the surgery.

A representative for Flair initially downplayed Flair's hospitalized Saturday for what was described as “routine monitoring.” Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Flair was hospitalized for a heart-related issue.
The situation, however, escalated quickly and the representative tweeted late Sunday night asking for prayers for Flair, saying that he was facing “some tough medical issues.”

WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes tweeted that he visited Flair in the hospital on Sunday before Hayes traveled to Boston for Monday Night Raw.
Hayes noted the severity of the situation: "I can assure the he needs everyone's prayers and positive vibes."
Flair, who is recognized as a 16-time world champion, wrote in his 2004 autobiography that he developed a heart condition called alcoholic cardiomyopathy after many years of drinking and partying.
