Chinx' Mother Wants Answers About Her Son's Murder F-rom Puff Daddy And French Montana

Veronica Clinton, the mother of deceased rapper Chinx, said she felt "disrespected" by Puff Daddy and French Montana following her son's murder last year. Fox 5 NY's Lisa Evers spoke to Clinton at a vigil honoring the one-year anniversary of Chinx murder yesterday, and she immediately voiced a belief that both rappers should have done more to reach out to her. "P. Diddy and French Montana need to come out and see me," she said. "They ain't said nothing to me since my child been dead. Even when my child was dead they wouldn't see me."

"I am Lionel's mother. I need answers," she continued. "Yes they disrespected me, all the way." According to Clinton, French only spoke to her briefly at Chinx funeral. "I asked French 'Why did y'all do that to my child?' and he said 'Because he wouldn't listen. And I told French 'You're not his father but I am his mother'... And there were no more words after that."

Chinx, who was signed to Montana's Coke Boys imprint under Puff Daddy's Bad Boy, was murdered last May in a late-night shooting in Queens. No arrests have been made, and a recent report f-rom Fox 5 NY found that police have been struggling with unnamed people in the music industry who were not cooperating with their investigation.

You can listen to all her comments in the video above, as well as coverage of the vigil. Complex has reached out to representatives for Puff Daddy, French Montana, and Veronica Clinton for comment.
