    Cobra battles python on Singapore reservoir trail

    The video shows the cobra slither up behind the python and bite it on the body before fleeing into the bushes.

    May 31 (UPI) -- A Singapore resident shared video of a tense battle between a reticulated python and a king cobra on a trail near his home.

    Sheldon Trollope posted a video to Facebook that he said was filmed by a neighbor on the MacRitchie Nature Trail, which leads to the Upper Peirce Reservoir.

    The video shows the cobra slither up behind the python and bite it on the body before fleeing into the bushes.
