Miley Cyrus has a message for critics following a scary incident with an overzealous fan over the weekend: Hands off. "Don't (expletive) with my freedom."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 26, spoke out Tuesday for the first time since she was groped and forcibly kissed by a handsy fan while walking through a crowd with husband Liam Hemsworth in Barcelona, Spain.

A video posted to Twitter Sunday shows a male fan grab Cyrus' hair, wrap his arm around her neck and forcibly pull her in for a kiss on the face. Fortunately, Cyrus was quick enough to turn her head in the other direction as security jumped into action.

Hemsworth, who was leading Cyrus through the crowd, quickly put his arm around his wife and guided her into an SUV following the incident.

Cyrus took to Twitter Tuesday to share footage of the encounter, as well as a video of "The Talk" co-hosts Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood reacting to trolls who claimed the singer "asked for it" by the way she was dressed.

"She can be wearing what she wants," Cyrus wrote. "She can be a virgin. She can be sleeping with 5 different people. She can be with her husband. She can be with her girlfriend. She can be naked. She CAN’T be grabbed without her consent."

Cyrus added the hashtag #Dont(Expletive)WithMyFreedom, which doubles as a lyrics to her new song "Mother's Daughter."

The single is featured on her new EP "She Is Coming," released Friday.
