Jennifer Lopez wears insanely expensive outfit, including a $A140K Hermes Birkin bag

She’s definitely not Jenny from the Block anymore. 

Jennifer Lopez isn’t exactly known for her budget fashion taste but the newly-engaged singer has taken her insanely expensive wardrobe to another new level in New York today.

Yep, JLo was seen carrying a $US100,000 ($A140,000) Hermes Birkin bag, teamed with wool coat by Vince and, among other designer pieces, a pair of $US490 ($A689) Alexander McQueen sneakers.

It was a casual outfit with a huge price-tag, to go shopping at budget fashion chain H&M.

The 49-year-old was out and about with her daughter, Emme, 11, at the Swedish brand’s Hudson Yards store, where bags are usually priced closer to $14 than $140,000.

JLo teamed the ensemble with a pair of sunglasses from her new collection with Australian brand, Quay. Dubbed the “All In” sunglasses, they cost around $60.

But it was Lopez’s carrywear that pushed the cost of her outfit over the edge.

The New York Post reports that JLo has been sporting the $US100,000 Hermès Birkin bag around the Big Apple all week.

The Himalayan crocodile version of the Birkin is considered to be the world’s rarest and most expensive handbag, according to Page Six, and is also owned by Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian.

Lopez is a huge Birkin enthusiast and seems to own one in every shade, using her $US19,000 yellow “Kelly” version as a … gym bag.

RING ON IT: JLO AND A-ROD ARE ENGAGED 

JLo announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend, former Yankees baseball star A-Rod (aka Alex Rodriguez), earlier this month.

Rodriguez proposed with a $5 million ring the Bahamas, with Lopez wearing a $328 outfit by Australian brand, Spell — the Seashell Organic Tie Top and Ruched Skirt.

The couple this week released a line of sunnies with Quay Australia, dubbed QUAY X Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
